All Hell Has Broken Loose!

Ok - so we adopt a cat (well more of a kitten - only 18 months old).

She's "sterilized, tattoed and vaccinated".  Please note the quotes

She gets fatter and fatter.

4 weeks later we 4 kittens.

No.

Not sterilized.  Not tattoed.  Not vaccinated.

Kittens are doing fine.  Pippi Blackstocking (thanks Tonya) is a purrfick Mum.

Until 6.00 am this morning when the kittens are just over a week old.  Guess who comes into season and is yelling the house down?

Only 6 weeks to go until she can be "done" (very very heavy sigh).

I'm going to bed with a pillow over my head!

More soon.

ah, now i understand your comment on my blog. why is there a wait of 6 weeks though? Pokey was incredibly cute when she went into heat. She was rolling on the floor begging for attention and made the cutest yells. you probably hate hearing that, don't you. sorry. Pippi will be done with it soon!

There is a wait of at least 6 weeks as the kittens have to be weaned. Otherwise I'd get her done tomorrow!

Sounds like you've got a busy little lady and some false advertising! But the kittens sound adorable and you must admit it brings a bit of life into the house. Too much with the yowling, of course! Thinking of you!!!

Yes we had a spayed female in our rescue program that produced 8 of the cutest pups you ever saw!
