A Little Something

I finished this mini quilt way back in March as a birthday present for The Young One.

Unfortunately I messed up the binding so I have spent the last few days unpicking it.

I then cut off the excess batt and backing and started again.

This is the result.

A lot flatter and neater.

Re photos. I was wondering what on earth Blogger was up to with that Lightbox thing. I was reading Sharon's blog this morning and saw that she managed to disable it. After a lot of fiddling about I managed to find out where the settings are and it is now disabled.

So if you want to go back to the previous post and click on the photo you should be able to enlarge it.

FYI - the Lego quilt currently measures 52" x 48" and, no Sharon, I hadn't spotted that arch until you mentioned it.

More soon.

Alex is more ways than one! So, do all of her best friends want you to make quilts of their names now ? ;) That would make a really unusual and cute gift, actually!

I just read in Blognews stuff that they have added a button so you can now disable Lightbox yourself, etc etc. Didn't take that much notice actually, not havign even known it existed, nor that I was going to be tested on it so soon after ignoring it...
So - go read your BlogTripe News.
Last week when I glanced at it I saw they had TEMPLATES IN CASE YOU HAVE WRITERS BLOCK and don't know what sort of crap to drivel on about. Not "YOU" personally, I mean "You the idiot blogger who starts a blog even tho yoyu have nothing of worth to say".
Maybe I should just cut and paste this into a blog entry so it looks like I am still one with this earth...?
Yes, I shall.

Okay, guess I'll have to check into this Lightbox thing and see whether or not I need to disable it on my blog.

Your Lego quilt is looking great!
