Now (insert drum roll) there is a part of a top.

There is a lot of infilling, because, as you know, I can't sew straight. Thank goodness I'm still making those strips. I knew they would come in useful!
Now where did I put that list of Autumn chores?
More soon.

OK. So how big is it now?
I've been thinking I need to quilt the center of mine before adding MORE, but now I think I will get it together and then hand it off to a LA quilter.
What do you think about the WEIGHT with all the seams? Maybe a fleece backing with no batting?
Beautiful, Clare! Enjoy looking at your quilt, the list can wait.
woohoo, wonderful!!!! fun to see how you went with your own pattern for laying the blocks.
it's great. I'm beginning to resent I gave away three big bags of scraps.....
Wow, that IS an obsession . . . a beautiful obsession! Yes, how big is it? This is fantastic. I really like the arch shape you got from a strip with a round part, almost in the middle of the quilt. That's what I call serendipity!
Like it! so much movement...
Love how you arranged the blocks ... my Dumpster Diving is away being quilted ... can't wait for it to come back to me.
I suspect I will make another using this method - it is just TOO much fun!
Wow Clare - that was made quite quickly, looks great draped on the stonework.
Love this colorful creation!
; )
Love it Clare! This is such a fun pattern.
