Interesting...that last one has me baffled though. It seems to say "feather on the tongue"... I'll have to ask my DH who speaks French if that's an idiom or saying. Our streets over here have nothing like that on them.

I would love to know the translation of these phrases...anyone willing to post the translatins? My French is so poor and I'm sure most are idioms. Love your blog - so interesting!
