My Gabby (solid black cat) disappeared about the same time. I wonder if the moon's involved??? I'm praying her home and will add Magic to the cat-list of "Go Home NOW!"
So sorry, Clare, about Magic's disappearance. Don't give up hope, though...our black cat, Alfonse le Soot, disappeared and didn't turn up again for a month and three days. We had given up hope, grieved, missed him so much. After eleven years, he'd never been gone even overnight. Now we're left to wonder where he got himself to, and why. I'm holding a good thought for Magic.
