Hardly any sewing being done, except for a small wall hanging for the friends we spent Christmas with. They live on a small holding and I thought this would be perfect for them.
Just some ties and I'm machining the binding. I've lost the momentum to sew and quilt and hope it will come back "next year".
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments regarding my allergy. I now don't think it's the batting, although it does make me itch and I'm going to wear gloves in future. Mum thinks it could be the blood pressure tablets I'm on, or the cat!
Fancy using these scissors ????
A sign for a coiffeuse in the same street I love it!
On that note I'm going to wish you a bonne année et bonne santé pour l'année deux mille huit. May your blocks not match and may your wonky letters become even wonkier.
Bisous pour tous .

I hope my blocks will match with or without wonky letters! Bonne Année et Bonne Santé a vous aussi mon amie! Allergies never come from cats!!! (LOL) Sorry to hear you are suffering from high blood pressure... they always say cuddling a cat (or other pet) lowers your blood pressure. i’m cuddling mine like crazy! Thanks for sharing so much of your creativity and the Perigordian beauty! See you next year!
And a Happy New Year to you and your family too.
Love the scissors! For the new year, I wish that you find your sewing vibe again!! Happy New Year!
Wishing you a very happy, quilty new year Clare. I'm sure your quilting mojo will return with a vengeance before you know it. Having that awful rash on your hands is certainly a great reason for your quilting mojo to have flown out the window.
Gotta love those huge scissors! Sending wishes to you for a glorious new year filled with only good things!
And a very happy 2008 to you and yours Clare! Cheers!!!
Happy New Year full of wonderful sewing and NO allergies to anything!!! Great scissors - that would be so fun to have as a sculpture in the back garden.
Big, big grin -- I am chuffed to bits to see that lovely little piece of blue fabric with roosters that I sent you finding a wonderful way to a permanent home. The second I saw it, I knew it belonged in France, and I just knew you'd find it a place where it would be loved!
Very cool photos. I hope your non-quilting season isn't too long. Happy New Year.
