Look What I Finished Yesterday!

Boy was I getting fed up with it! I started the binding on Saturday afternoon and had to unpick the whole lot yesterday morning. It still isn't right, but it's better than it was! Now it is to be washed (she says crossing fingers that the colours won't run), initialled and handed over to its recipient. And today I hope to get the top of Houses finished, batted and backed (heavy sigh).

It looks great! Sorry the binding gave you trouble. I definitely need to make one of the XO quilts. So many ideas, so little time.

it looks lovely, what design did you quilt it with ?? I'm stuck on my design for my xmas wall hangings and have been practising hand quilting although machine is so much quicker,

Isn't it lovely when you get something finished?

Finished is good - fingers crossed for the washing.

Woohoo, congrats on the finish! You did it, good job.

Can you get Color Catchers there or Dye Magnets? You throw them in the wash water and they do a great job of catching any dye that escapes.

I love the creative, free-form look and the bright colors! Takes my mind off of Les Bleus. Almost.

Congratulations on finishing! I like the introduction of the print into the lettering.

It looks great. I pay someone to do my bindings. I know how to do it beautifully, and when we were young and poor, I did. But now, I'd rather eat dirt.

Congratulations on finishing! At my old job, whenever there would be a closing, I would get a handshake from my boss. It seemed weird, but I looked forward to those handshakes, just to commemorate having accomplished something before getting engrossed in the next deal. So consider your hand shaken by me. You've done good.
