Sorry for my absence - I can't believe it's been over a month!
I've been stressing about the Liberated Round Robin 2012. So much so that I haven't sewn a thing and when I do decide to sit down at the machine nothing goes right.
Not to mention the fact that the aged desktop packed up last Sunday and won't be reformatted or rebooted.
Why does it always happen to me!
Anyway.
I'm not happy with the original block and the crumbs so I'm starting again.
I've got some batik blocks left over from the Liberated Batiks Log Cabin (click here for photos) so I'm starting again with those. I shall probably be a round behind, but that's got to be better than my initial decision which was to leave in a fit of pique!
I don't like the original idea, it won't lie flat and the green really jumps out.
I'll probably slash it and use it in something else.
More soon.

Actually, I rather like it.
Rather than stuff it away, you could drop it in the mail to me . . .
hmmm....should I make a tin foil hat for you too? I am pretty sure that any muse-messages come through a little more clear with one on top of your head!
Fun that you are playing with this....!
what happened to the black border...it needed black !!!
Sorry to hear you're feeling stressed with your RR quilt xx
Even a round behind, you're still ahead of me Clare because i haven't started yet! And I haven't finished RR1 either :-(
But there's no point persisting if it's fighting so hard with you! There's not a lot lost when you're just using scraps.
