Woosh!

Got myself motivated.  Cleared the decks as best as possible, given the limited amount of space I already have (most of which are books!).

Finally got this off the wall, put borders on and its now on a hangar until I find time to baste and quilt it.

Then thought - what the heck - pulled out the red and white blocks bin .

Et voila!

Hmmmm.  Not too sure about that block second from the left, second row down.  My eye tends to go to it straight away.  Will have to find one a bit less bright.

See ya!

I love it, Clare! But I am a sucker for red and white--it pulls me in every time. Mary Ellen Hopkins says that "All reds go together" and I have no problem with that one block. But if it bothers you, it might bother you forever.

Love the way you did that with each block being different. Great job!

Couldn't get started and now you're on a roll! They look great. I can see why you might be inclined to swap out the one block. If you have a stash of blocks to pull from, why not?

Looks hunky dory from this angle, go with the flow.

Congrats on getting going! That's often the hardest part!

I think the quilt tops look great! That one block is brighter than the others, but not so much as to be a problem, really. But if it bothers you....
