Juggling,

or procrastinating, or multi-tasking, got the fidgets or just plain old can't make my mind up! (I don't think the photos are clickable. I've embeded them from older posts.)
This has come to the the top of the pile telling me it needs to be up on it's proposed hanging place pretty damn soon. (I have told it it's got to wait a bit longer as I'm still not completely happy with it.)
Then this decided it needed my attention. When Lazy Gal Tonya starts quilting the Halloween Noises quilt, I want to quilt this at the same time so it needs a black border on it. I also need to start thinking of designs. The Young One suggested lots and lots of spider webs all connected. Hmmmmm!
This came down off the wall yesterday and is being tied. I've found a little girl in France to be its owner. I've been searching and searching in Blogland and finally found someone this weekend.
I wonder if this is the oldest WIP in quilting history? Two years on and it's still not finished. The other day it appeared on the back of the sofa, seeking attention too.
AbFab Update2
To round off this post. My lovely Texan friend, Brown Dirt Belinda, and I have occasional phone chats, usually lasting for about 2 hours. Last time we spoke she asked what I was looking at while I was on the phone. This is what I can see out of the window by the phone.
The hay was cut at 8.00 am yesterday morning. At 7.00 am this morning the farmer was back to turn it. That means that either later on today, or tomorrow, it will be baled. Unfortunately someone will be missing from the yearly photo shoot of the hay bales. I had a quiet weep yesterday evening. I still miss her - terribly. This was her favourite time of year. Right - I'm outta here. PS - I'm in the process of decorating (again) so please bear with me. Then I promise I'll stop fiddling.

Don't let the quilt bully you into doing any work until you're absolutely ready to do it.

I know how you feel about your cat. I still miss Gizzy.

Every mother knows how to multi-task. (I accidentally typed talk instead of task and that works too. Lol.) Good luck with all those tasks.

fun stuff to see today. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I get Slither Eek Boo ready for quilting since I'm teaching a class on hand quilting in July. I got other things I need to finish too though, so don't know.... so sorry about your magical kitty.

Love your feeling blue quilt, it's great.

Your Halloween quilt is wonderful! Do they celebrate that in France? I admit to having the most decorated house in the village when I lived in England...just a bit over the top and so very American!

Very interesting to get a "slice" of your life. Personally I think I more often procrastinate! Love the view out your window.

Those blue words -- aren't those from an old song? Now it's running through my head, both French and English lyrics.
LOVE that Halloween quilt. A quilt-along with Tonya would be fun.
And sorry about the cat, it's so hard when they are no longer with you.

Enjoyed reading your post.
I like how you talked about various projects emerging from the pile and asking for different things - quilting, attention, borders, etc...gave me a smile...I know exactly how that goes!

Isn't it amazing what a nag some of those quilts can be? Downright pushy!

I love your Halloween quilt - that's a great idea to quilt along with Tonya. And your blue quilt is cool. What a great idea to use song lyrics.

So sorry to hear you're still so sad over your kitty. I know how it feels - I still miss my Oreo kitty after 7 years.

Fiddling is the brain's way of solving a problem. Don't rush into anything. Quilts are no good when they're pushed. Sorry about your kitty. I still miss Bridget and Muffie (the pugs who came before)

PS Love the halloween quilt. I think the "L" on the top Blue is what's bothering me, it seems disconnected from the other letters, somehow. (But that just may be me.)

Wow. You've been busy! I love the look of that last quilt. (Condolences on your loss -- these things hurt so much, don't they? And non-pet-owners have a hard time understanding...)

A two year old WIP as the oldest in the world?! You've got to be joking! I've got a four year old one that I admit to!

I have WIP's way older than 2 years. Sounds like you are keeping busy.
