I don't know what's happened lately. The days seem to be running away from me.
Today is Monday (obviously!) and I have no idea what happened to the weekend.
The nights are beginning to draw in and the days are getting shorter.
This means only one thing.
Lots of stodgy winter food cooked in the crockpot, or alternatively butternut squash which I just love!
Looking at those gorgeous colours reminds me of my previous post -
COLOUR.
Talking of
colour.
I've been trying to empty the triangles bin. You know the ones. Those triangles which seem to appear from nowhere. The ones you lop off when you join strips of fabric together at right angles, the ones that suddenly appear when your doing foundation piecing (they seem to migrate to the back of the block). Don't you find they seem to mutliply and before you know it the bin is full!
Well, I've been creating more rioteous
COLOUR.
I have no idea how I'm going to use them, but I'm having fun playing, and making more in between doing this.
I think this is going to be one of those quilts that just won't "play". It doesn't seem to want to speak to me and is quite happy sitting there on the design wall sulking, I really can't build up any enthusiasum for it at all.
However, it is hiding something which cannot be revealed as it is going to be a big surprise for someone who is very close to me and who I miss a lot. Thank goodness for the telephone, both the landline and the mobile.
Talking about having fun. Have you seen Tonya's glorious riot of
COLOUR? Isn't it just totally totally .............. (I'm speechless).
Better get back to that sewing machine.
