You see, big or small, short or tall ...we love to see them finished! The Crumb quilt looks wonderful. As for some tieing along with quilting...I've done all three on a couple of quilts. Machine quilted part, wasn't satified, so I tied the centers, and then did some hand quilting anyway! Anything goes you know! *VBS* Big hugs, so happy you found what was missing...me too!!Finnhttp://Piecesfrommyscrapbagnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24653933.post-20213361417829022972008-09-03T00:12:38.000+02:002008-09-03T00:12:38.000+02:00I think it looks fab! Lots of old quilts are tied, and the ties usually on the front, as a bit of a decorative feature.Lyndanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24653933.post-78205007496489456982008-08-30T20:42:01.000+02:002008-08-30T20:42:01.000+02:00Congrats on the finish! A couple of times I have combined tying with quilting and actually liked the effect.

I was thinking that traditionally crazy quilts are tied anyway, but usually with the ties on the back side of the quilt.
