More Birds

Well, actually, just one more.

Looking at them side by side you can see which one is the proper one.

The Aurifil Invisible Thread arrived yesterday.

Look at this!

I received one spool in the give away, which I had to send back to AlexVeronelli, and the lovely man sent me 4! Can't wait to get quilting.

To finish off this post, look what The Old One found in the pool on Wednesday morning

and no it's not rubber!

I promise it's a proper, real, live Salamander deciding to go for a swim.

Have a great weekend!

More soon

Your birds are just wonderful! But one is proper and one is not? Well then, one must be American and one a Brit..but which is which? I know, the one with the accent..oh, wait...which one is considered to have an accent by the other ;) You have been jumpstarted! I am expecting a wonderful, wonderful flock with lovely invisible quilting! Lovely, Clare..birds and the abundance of great thread! Best invisible thread there is!! Good for you on all of this!

PS
I'm glad the lizard is at your house. If he was at mine, he would be here to stay until his the bitter end. I'm the crazy lady whose crazy family used to bring home lizards, snakes, scorpions, rats, tarantulas, geckos, iguanas etc. My house is finally down to chickens and cats and the chickens aren't invited inside very often!

I like your liberated bird Clare. After all, we wing it with our patchwork all the time in our liberated world.

Oh, what wonderful birds! I love them both. However, I don't love the salamander, although he is kind of pretty. Did you go for a swim with him? :)

Actually, the salamander photo is a great color inspiration!

I love these birds! There are no proper ones...remember everything we do as quilters is a journey and has a learning curve. Think of it this way, one bird is just different from the other like us all. Thank goodness we're not all the same, how boring would that be? ;o)
