Gifts Galore!

The nice thing about having a birthday near to Christmas is that sometimes one hit's the jackpot!

The Old One let me order my Christmas presents online this year.  Word Play Quilts was part of the order.

My father then sent me an Amazon gift certificate for my birthday!  Woo hoo!

Here are my purchases.

Oh and the fabric too.  Lucky me!

I love the first Collaborative Quilting book.  We've got a table just like Gwen's sewing table, but The Old One say's it's too heavy for our floors and could end up in the sous sol!  He's using it for his tools instead.  What a waste!

Amish Abstractions is beautifully produced.  I've only got as far as the intro, but I love looking at the plates.  Can't find my original Roman Stripes which became Stripes or Strings

Got some sewing to do.

Speak soon.

fun fun fun! not all the quilts on the site made it into the Amish book since they weren't a part of the show... but the ones in the book are amazing and such great quality photos.

Well...well...happy belated birthday to you girl!! I too have a 'close to Christmas' birthday! I don't think I ever really liked my birthday being so close to Christmas. I either got everything on Christmas or everything on my birthday...not sure it was fair!
You selected some pretty good 'stuff n things' there I see!! Love everything!!!
