Finished Top

Finally finally finished the Family Tree top last night.

Sorry - the photo is dreadful.  Not very good light today.

Also did a bit more on Blueberry Fool.

This one is going to be huge.  I've cut up so much blue fabric I haven't got the heart to put it all back in the stash!

It is freezing today.  I've just had a text from The Young One who is standing in the school playground shivering!

According to the meteo, this is just the start of it - it's going to get colder.  Brrrrrr.  Time to hibernate I think.

A plus!

Love the family tree quilt. What a great idea. The wind chills here today are -45 but in Edmonton they are saying it's -56! Hibernation indeed..

Both Family Tree and Blueberry Fool are lovely - I particularly like the border on Family Tree. It's getting cold here too.

I'm with Fiona that square on point border on the Family Tree quilt is the icing on the cake!

Love your family tree! Fun and charming!! Very creative and personal!

These dark and cold days doesn't make it easy to take pictures, indoors or outdoors...

The blueberry fool reminds me of a winter night sky... lots of lovely blue fabric - waiting for some stars?

; )

stay warm...
