Haunted Houses 2

Just bear in mind that this is a rough draft. I know it's looking a bit of a mish mash, but I'll think we'll get there in the end.

I did another boo hoo though. Look at the words along the top. Can you see the different backgrounds. Doh! How can a person mistake dark blue for black! By the time I realised what I had done it was too late.

These are the other fabrics that Amy sent.

Autumnal Fabrics

The book I've got to review arrived yesterday so I'm off to look through that and Ma Petite Fille That Was has got to be taxied to the hairdresser this afternoon so she can look smart for the cross country on Friday afternoon (snort!).

The Halloween quilt is really coming together. I love the letters on top with all the colours. And did you say BLUE? Where??? That’s what makes a quilt so special and charming!

The Halloween quilt is looking good. THat's my favorite part where you start to put it all together and find out you need several more pieces. Lol.

I love all the colors. I did not give the words on the top a second look, they look great with the different background colors.

Don't despair Clare I really like the black background and then blue - it looks like its meant to be - at least you didn't change mid word - as the rest of it is random it really adds to the charm!

What clever little doo-dads on your blog, popping up and there, little wiggly things, etc! Arghhhh, another thing I want to learn!

Enjoyed your posts - love the lettering - arghhhh, another thing I want to learn!

I agree -- I think the blue/black backgrounds look fine -- if you don't say anything, no one will know it was unintentional, as each of the other words have a different-coloured background, too.

I LOVE the googly eyes and the ghosts in the windows -- I'm so glad you could use them!

The black and blue actually looks really good! You could mirror that along the bottom, but the reverse :)

I think it looks ok. Maybe sash the blue with black and black with blue and make it look more planned.

I like the two different colors. First of all it looks great, and secondly, just the kind of thing I end up doing.
